Funchal, the capital of Madeira, is one of the most sought-after diving destinations in Portugal. With crystal-clear waters, impressive biodiversity, and breathtaking underwater landscapes, Funchal offers a unique experience for divers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals.

Madeira’s waters are known for being warm and clear, with temperatures ranging from 18°C in winter to 24°C in summer, providing comfortable diving conditions year-round.

The region is also rich in biodiversity. Madeira’s unique underwater flora and fauna include moray eels, parrotfish, barracudas, turtles, and occasionally even majestic manta rays and dolphins.

CIPREIA DIVE CLUB

In Funchal, the capital of the Madeira archipelago, we have a privileged location. Our Diving Center is situated within the VidaMar Resort & Hotel Madeira, right in front of the pools and with direct access to the sea.
  • We have access to the hotel's facilities, including changing rooms and hot showers.
  • Cafeteria and restaurant.
  • Access to outdoor tables for equipment setup.
  • Washing tanks.
  • Removable racks for placing and air-drying equipment.
  • Reserved space for personal belongings inside the center.

Boat

We have one rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RIB):
  • BIG BLUE, with a length of 7.5 meters.
  • Honda 250HP outboard motor.
  • Capacity for 14 people.
  • 1 side ladder.
